Description
The title of this book is DO YOU KNOW THESE THINGS? It was structured this way by the Jɔl Wɔ Lieec members who are the writers because of the diversity of its contents. The book comprises of six parts as follows:
- Part one: Jiɛŋ folktales,
- Part two: Jiɛŋ dialect,
- Part three: Jiɛŋ numbers,
- Part four: Funny stories,
- Part five: Jiɛŋ poems and
- Part six: Jiɛŋ traditional vocabularies.
The target audience and readers of this book include not only Thuɔŋjäŋ learners but also the linguists and the translators.
This is one of the best books since it has dug deep into the Jiɛŋ tradition for example; it has mentioned the names of the months and seasons in Jieeng. It has also included the age sets and age groups of these great people called Jiɛŋ. The Jieeng alphabets and Jiɛŋ numbers which are fundamental for beginners of Jieeng dialect are also included in this book. All these make the book exceptional and valuable for our day-to-day readers.
